You Can with Archuleta

Since the American Idol season 7 has started, I never liked how he perform. I was telling my friends that he's voice is so elementary and the other aspirants are better than him. My classmates used to sing his contest piece like Imagine, Stand By Me and Heaven. Whenever they do that, I really walk out the classroom because for me, David Cook's the best.

But my perception changed until he came here today in the Philippines (May 14, 2009) to take a visit and have a concert at the Mall Of Asia. Archuleta was a guest at SIS, a noon time show at GMA7 and he was interviewed about his life before and after the contest even Cook won, his experiences and about his music. Some of his songs were sang by the GMA7 singers like Kyla, the La Divas and 2 of the Popstar Kids and he was so amazed with our local singer's performance. He was saying that he feels odd, why is he sitting there while Kyla and the rest performs better than him. He's so humble and jolly. He's childish and spontaneous. I noticed that I never saw him make face. He's always smiling that I think makes him charming, that all his fans were so happy to see him and liked him so much. Even during the contest, he's always smiling even after the announcement of the new American Idol of Season 7. Natuwa lang ako. From there, I started to like him. Actually I'm listening to the songs of his 1st album with "Crush" as his album cover.

I'm afraid I cannot watch Cook's guesting tomorrow because I need to go out of town for something. :( I have no choicebut to search youtube what happened to Cook that day. :( Just comment me if you like to have a copy of his songs I'll make it available for download.
